Introducing our Brisbane office new Head of Credit, Michelle Cameron
StockCo is excited to announce that Michelle Cameron has joined our Brisbane office as our new Head of Credit.
Raised on a property in Western Queensland where her family ran sheep and cattle, Michelle’s passion for the agriculture industry and rural and regional communities runs deep, and she’s looking forward to working with the next generation to protect the future of the industry.
Since attaining her Bachelor of Agribusiness from the University of Queensland, Michelle has amassed 13 years of experience in the banking sector as a Manager, Analyst and Credit Analyst, specialising in Agribusiness.
These customer-facing roles have enhanced Michelle’s strong relationship-building and credit management skills while also solidifying her understanding of the agriculture industry and its challenges and opportunities.
Michelle joined StockCo for the opportunity to join a strong team of experienced livestock finance professionals, adding value and ensuring the best possible outcome for her clients.
“I felt my skills would complement the team whilst also providing me with the opportunity to build on my knowledge and skill set by working with the best,” she said.
Long-term, Michelle is focussed on helping her clients to continually grow their businesses by putting the correct structures in place so that they can make the most of seasonal opportunities and utilise the feed they have on hand. She is also passionate about connecting the next generation with the financial assistance they need to make a start in the industry.
When she’s not working, Michelle enjoys exercising, traveling and spending time with her young family and her friends.
