Marcus Kight

Marcus has been the managing director of StockCo since its inception. Over the 20+ year period he has been responsible for the development of the company which has grown in asset size from $3.5m to in excess of $300m, driven by a team of motivated and highly qualified people operating throughout New Zealand and Australia.

Richard Brimblecombe

Richard is the CEO of NAPCo, one of Australia’s oldest cattle companies, which operates 14 cattle stations with a herd of approximately 200,000 cattle in Qld and the NT. Prior to his appointment at NAPCo Richard was the CEO of StockCo Australia from 2012 to 2019 and was instrumental in StockCo’s success in Australia. He has over 20 years’ experience in senior management roles in financial services, commodity trading and processing, rural services and distribution. He previously held roles with Suncorp, Namoi Cotton, Landmark and CBA.. Richard is a long-time member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Master of Business Administration from Bond University. He was previously a non-executive Director of ReNu Energy Ltd (ASX: RNE) from 2015 until 2019 where he was a member of the Audit Committee and was Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. Richard was also a previous non-executive director of the Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC) with an operating budget of ~$200 million. Richard was Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, a member of the Commercialisation Committee and a member of the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee whilst on the Board of the GRDC.

Symon Brewis-Weston

Mr Brewis-Weston has extensive international financial services experience and a deep understanding of consumer and business markets in Asia-Pacific.

Most recently, Mr. Brewis Weston was Chief Executive Officer of FlexiGroup Limited. Prior to joining FlexiGroup, Mr. Brewis-Weston was chief executive officer of Sovereign, New Zealand’s largest life insurance provider. Mr. Brewis-Weston has also held several senior leadership positions with Commonwealth Bank Australia over 15 years, including executive general manager of corporate financial services, executive general manager for local business banking, Senior Manager Agribusiness, six years leading CBA’s Indonesian operations, and in China where he worked on developing CBA’s Chinese banking strategy. Symon also spent several years working for Rabobank Australia in Agri-Project Finance.

Mr. Brewis-Weston received the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles CEO Leadership Award in 2015 for his commitment to workplace diversity and community engagement.

Jonty Ephron

Jonty is an experienced international financial services executive, having held leadership roles in Australia, India and the UK. He brings strong leadership, strategic thinking and risk management experience to StockCo.

Jonty is passionate about agriculture and has worked closely with leading agribusiness enterprises in recent years which has given him insight and hands on experience in the sector.

Jonty holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business Administration from Macquarie University and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand.

Richard Davey

Richard has more than 7 years with Elders, 7 years as Chief Financial Officer. In addition to be being responsible for finance, tax and treasury, Richard is also accountable for a significant part of the back office including information technology, indirect procurement accounts payable, credit and property. These areas consist a significant part of Elders’ head office costs, which the team has been successful in reducing by almost 25% since the commencement of the Eight Point Plan. Richard sits on a number of the Company’s joint venture boards, as well as quarterly boards for operational units, including the overseas entities. Until recently he also had operational responsibility for the feed and processing area of the business. Prior to joining Elders in 2002, Richard spent 7 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in both Australia and Canada.

Tom Russo

Tom is a member of Elders’ executive committee and is currently national General Manager of the Real Estate division. A corporate lawyer and agribusiness executive, Tom has extensive experience in project managing large scale asset sales in Australian agribusiness, having successfully completed numerous transactions valued at several hundred million dollars in recent years. Tom has previously been the Chief Executive of a specialist international law firm and practiced as a corporate lawyer with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, complex contractual projects, corporate governance and intellectual property.

Tim Pryor

Tim joined StockCo in 2017 having worked for Bank of Queensland as Head of Agribusiness. Tim was introduced to StockCo in 2012 in his BOQ role having been a fundamental part of the underlying finance arrangements and due diligence completed by the senior debt club. Tim began his career working for rural agency business AWB Landmark. Tim then spent the next 12 years in senior Rural Banking roles across CBA, ANZ and most recently BOQ. Tim holds a Bachelor Degree in Animal Sciences and Production. He has a very broad rural and banking knowledge having experience ranging from client facing roles to engagement with executive leadership teams driving policy and strategy in an ASX listed regional Bank.

Jeremy Cranswick

Jeremy joined StockCo in 2012 having worked for Crowe Horwath as leader of the Crowe Horwath Hawke’s Bay Audit Department. Jeremy began his career with KPMG Audit in Auckland before working as planning and forecasting manager for the largest Lloyds insurance syndicate. He has expertise in Audit and Assurance, the Finance and Insurance industries, as well as financial modelling and forecasting. Jeremy is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, has a Degree in Business Studies, a Graduate Diploma majoring in Economics, and a Post Grad Diploma in Accountancy.

Michael Foote

Michael joined StockCo in 2005, bringing with him a wealth of Agribusiness experience through roles in the meat processing industry and a technical product development company. Michael’s role is focused around management and continuous improvement of the credit and security processes within the group. This includes the internal aspects of loan approvals, reviews and collections processes. He is responsible for the perfection and on-going management of our securities, and remains in close liaison with our customers, field team, and internal credit team and company legal advisors.

Greg Noonan

Greg Noonan joined StockCo in December as General Manager Products & Distribution. Greg will lead the Brisbane based sales & support team and focus on growth opportunities for StockCo.
Greg is an agribusiness and finance professional with a career spanning almost two decades in Australia and the US. Greg joins us from AniMark Ltd, where he was responsible for the implementation and oversight of the Livestock Global Assurance Program for Australian live exports.
Prior to AniMark, Greg held leadership roles with National Australia Bank in its financial markets division. He was integral in establishing a commodity and interest rate derivatives business for a NAB subsidiary in the US and spent a number of years providing financial risk management advice to agricultural producers in the south-west and Darling Downs regions of Queensland.
Greg brings deep understanding of global agricultural commodity and foreign exchange markets, having managed significant physical and derivative exposures in a range of roles for Namoi Cotton Co-operative, Australian Wheat Board and Sugar Australia.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New England, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
